BC Treeplanting Company for the 2019 Coastal, Interior and fall Seasons | experienced and hard working crew
Fieldstone Resources is a BC tree planting company that plants trees each season within the months of February to July (depending upon contracts) and in the fall between August - November (depending upon contracts). The 2024 season begins as soon as weather permits.

What to expect during the treeplanting season.

This 2024 season, various crews will start around Feb.1 on Vancouver Island. During the coastal season, we generally work a 3 on 1 off schedule. However, that can change depending upon snow and contract deadlines. Often, workers have the option to work extra days, if desired.

When you travel to the block, we maintain solid radio communication and avoid unnecessary safety risks since most of our supervisors have over half their lives working in the field.

Once the coast wraps up, we will move on to Interior locations. When these contracts are finished, the spring season will come to a close and we will bid or advise any workers of upcoming summer and fall coastal work.

Although we provide good accommodation and kitchens for our workers, you will be cooking for yourself. In addition to adequate sleeping accommodations, we try to provide our crews with comfortable living arrangements that include wifi, cable tv and nice furnishings. On top of that, we provide free caulks to our workers in order to help maintain their safety and production. 

Since we are a very experienced crew, we typically hire workers with some experience since we do not train green workers. However, we are open to planters with good attitudes and a solid work ethic. Level 1 and Level 3 First aid tickets are always an added bonus if you have one of those.
